Ductless split system air conditioners, also called mini-split systems, provide a good cooling option for homes where extending or installing distribution ductwork is not feasible. It is also the best cooling option for homes that only require a small space air conditioning system.
The mini-split cooling units have two main components, an outdoor compressor/condenser, and an indoor air-handling unit. The indoor air-handling unit is wall mounted and connected to the compressor via hidden conduits which house the power cable, refrigerant tubing and suction tubing, linking the outdoor and indoor units.

- Quiet operation: Ductless air conditioners are comprised of an indoor and outdoor unit, which allows for a quiet inside environment. Louder components such as compressors and motors will remain outside.
