Hi, I’m Ken with Mattioni Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. We get asked all the time, Do I really need plumbing maintenance? In this video, I’m going to explain what plumbing maintenance actually includes and the benefits of having it done regularly.
Plumbing maintenance is a very simple process. Our expert technicians look at the major components of your plumbing system. They will check your water heater and pipes around it for signs of aging or damage, and check your water pressure to be sure that it does not pose a risk to your system. They will also check all your exposed plumbing like toilets, faucets, and shut off valves for signs of issues or leaking. Other systems that are examined include sump pumps and private well components if they apply to your home. Finally, we also conduct a water quality test to determine if your home’s water is hard, acidic, or has any contaminants in it that could be harmful to your home’s plumbing or your family.
